Collect messages from the public without creating accounts. You turn the form on, share the link, and mark each message Pending, Replied, or Resolved.
This is not contestant apply. Approving nothing here enrolls nobody.
Who can use this: contest owners and co-producers. The public form is available when you enable it — even if the contest is marked inactive.
Have a contest.
Decide whether a passphrase should gate the form.
Decide who will actually answer the messages.
Open Manage, then Contact Us, or use Contact Us in the sidebar.
Click Manage Form.
Check Enable public Contact Us form.
Optionally require a passphrase.
Optionally set open/close times. Those times turn the form on or off; they do not change whether the contest itself is active.
Click Save Settings. The first time you enable it, default questions are added (email, message, optional phone). Edit them like other application forms.
The public URL looks like /contact/{contest id}. It also appears on the public contest hub when the form is enabled.
Open Contact Us (the review list).
Filter Pending / Replied / Resolved.
Open a message, read the answers, then mark Replied or Resolved.
Notes stay on the contest. They are not emailed.
If the submitter left an email, they get a confirmation when the message arrives (contact_received on Emails). Status changes do not send more mail.
Staff still get the usual “a public form was submitted” email.
