Keep contest files (photos, bios, audio, video, PDFs) with the contest instead of scattering them in email.
This is optional. Logos and profile pictures still use the regular uploads folder.
Who can use this: contest owners and co-producers. Contestants, judges, and approved vendors upload through a magic link you send or copy from this page — not from the public vendor inquiry form.
Types: MP3, MP4, JPEG/JPG, PNG, PDF, WebP, WebM. Not GIF, SVG, HTML, or scripts.
5 MB per file.
Up to 5 files per visit on a magic-link upload.
75 MB per contest. The server enforces this. At 80% you get a notice; at 100% new uploads are blocked until you delete files.
Images can be previewed in the app. PDF, audio, and video are download only.
Every file is scanned before it can be downloaded. If the scanner is down or a file fails the check, it is not accepted. That is intentional.
Open Manage, then Contest media, or Contest media under Contest Settings.
Check Enable contest media uploads and save.
Use Upload links for contestants, judges, and approved vendors. Send / Resend emails the current URL. Copy link and QR work like judge invitations (QR needs the site public URL).
Disable pauses that person without changing the token. Rotate issues a new URL; the old one stops. Links stay on until you disable them here or mark the contest inactive. They do not expire on a timer.
You can still upload a file yourself and attach it to a contestant or judge. Photo / bio / contestant media can also tick the matching Chaos Ops prep item for that person.
Vendors do not attach files on the public inquiry form. Approve them first, then send their upload link from this page.
Mark complete is a producer checklist only. Downloading does not mark complete. Complete does not delete the file or free quota.
Delete removes the file from storage and frees quota.
The download warning is there on purpose: the server scanned the files; you should still verify them before opening, especially files other people uploaded.
A file that did not pass the scan stays on the list until you delete it (or it ages out), but Download is hidden. Status shows Scanning, Blocked, or Not scanned instead of Complete / Open. Blocked and unscanned files still count toward the 75 MB contest total until you delete them.
Clone does not copy media files or upload links. Backup CSV packs do not include the binaries.
